SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Former Ogilvie Foods BCP Site #C623028 Foundation Demolition, Tank Removal and Soil Removal, and Monitoring Well Installation The project is located at the former Ogilvie Foods Site (i.e., former dairy processing plant) at 148 Pleasant Street North in the City of Watertown, Jefferson County, NY. This project is being progressed under the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Brownfields Cleanup Program (BCP). The successful bidder will be required to supply all labor, materials and equipment to perform the demolition and removal work as shown on the contract drawings, specifications, and bidding documents and as directed by the ENGINEER including, but not limited to the following: 1. Complete demolition and disposal of foundations, footings, and building slabs remaining onsite within proposed subdivision parcels. 2. Removal and disposal of two (2) closed in-place 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks. 3. Excavation and disposal of petroleum-impacted soils and contaminated surface soils. 4. Installation of groundwater monitoring wells. 5. Topsoil, grading, and seeding of disturbed areas.
