SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATIONS:

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Construct a 3,000 square foot concrete block building with office, lunch room, bathrooms and garage bays to house the Village of Brightwaters Department of Public Works and its vehicles. Drawings and specifications may be examined and obtained at the Village Hall on or after Thursday November 5, 2015, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. A fee of $25.00 is required for each set of Contract Documents. This deposit is non-refundable. Do not remove any pages; proposal packets are to be submitted in-tact. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check made payable to the Village of Brightwaters in the amount of $250.00 as a bid security and the proposals will not be accepted after 10:00am on November 19, 2015, NO EXCEPTIONS SHALL BE GRANTED. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Once received, the submitted proposals will be publicly opened and read by the Village Clerk. The contract will be awarded as soon thereafter as practicable by the Village Board of Trustees. The winning bid proposal will be notified by the Village Clerk, forthwith upon decision by the Board of Trustees. The Village of Brightwaters will not reimburse any individual or firm for any costs associated with preparation of their proposal statement.
